“Just wanted to take a moment to thank the assisted living in Keenesburg, CO. I moved my 98-year-old grandmother there almost a year ago. It was a very hard decision to take her out of her home, but I am so thankful she is there. It is 30 minutes from Bennett, CO. The facility is small and feels like a home: quiet country atmosphere, very clean and well maintained, home-cooked meals, holidays celebrated, and lots of activities.
She was allowed to bring her own bedroom set so she would feel comfortable. There is also a Catholic church across the street, which was an important part of our decision. The staff is so kind, and the price is very reasonable. My grandma has 24-hour care there.
Within a month of being there I saw such a difference in her. She has gained weight, started eating again, is back on her daily medications routinely, interacting with staff, and finally has a smile on her face. Thank you so much, Charleston at Keenesburg, for loving my grandmother like I do.
